What Years Are Baby Boomers? (1946–1964)
Baby Boomers refers to those born between 1946 and 1964, raised inside systems that were already working - and showed no signs of stopping.
Age today: 62–80
Entry 02 - Baby Boomers
They didn’t build the system.
They arrived inside it, already working.
So they used it.
When something works before you touch it, you don’t question it.
You expand it.
Pressure had eased.
Stability increased.
The structure built under constraint now had room to move.
So it did.
Growth became the default.
More access.
More production.
More of everything that seemed to be working.
And it did work.

Expansion assumes the system has already been tested.
It rarely checks again.
The original structure was still there, carrying weight quietly. Absorbing pressure no one was paying close attention to anymore.
From the outside, everything looked stable. In many ways, it was.
That’s what made it convincing.
Entire neighborhoods built on that confidence.
Repeated structures.
Familiar layouts.
No visible reason to doubt any of it.
Nothing suggested failure.
Which meant no one was looking for it.
System Glitch
Confidence increased faster than verification.
Once something works long enough, limits start to feel unnecessary.
Constraints feel outdated. The relationship to reality shifts slightly - not enough to stop anything, just enough to change how it’s understood.
The conditions that created the system were gone.
The confidence remained.
That gap stayed small for a while.
Small gaps are easy to ignore.
What follows does not expand the system.
It begins to question it.
